This year, the imm Cologne fair made its first ever Jury’s Choice selection for Featured Editions, with awards presented to the three best-implemented installations.

Selected by Robert Volhard/Stylepark, the committee included members like our own editor-in-chief Lise Coirier, as well as AD Deutschland’s Oliver Jahn and Dick Spierenburg, the art director of imm Cologne.

The three winners in this edition of the fair were:

Jury´s Choice GOLD: Emu – Hall 3.2 D-020
The jury said: “With this installation, Emu combines the deconstruction of her product with a narrative element in a wonderfully poetic way”.

Jury´s Choice SILVER: Pedrali – Hall 2.2 K-022
The jury said: “A wonderfully humorous and playful staging of the cordless that fights against the plug –tradition versus innovation.”

Jury´s Choice BRONZE: Dante Goods and Bads – Hall 3.2 E-050
The jury said: “With its sophisticated transformation from product to lighthouse, a surprising and unusual eye-catcher.”

The theme of the 2018 Featured Editions was “Light”. So the nine presentations were not be staged on podiums, but in so-called “Light Labs,” spaces created using gauze fabric.
